Meet the Baker

Hi, I'm Becky Peters, the baker behind Rise & Shine Sourdough. What started as a kitchen experiment with a bubbly jar of starter has grown into a weekly tradition that I'm so grateful to share with you.

How It's Made

Every loaf I bake begins with just three simple things: my sourdough starter (fed daily!), quality flour, and water. No commercial yeast, no preservatives, no shortcuts. Just patience, time, and a whole lot of love.

There's something special about sourdough — the slow fermentation brings out flavours and textures that you just can't get from store-bought bread.
